Open Board Positions

Rising Leaders Institute (RLI): Chair:

Work with staff at NAM and RLI planning committee to create, plan, and implement curriculum and application process for each cohort. Participate in the RLI planning committee and track expenses of the cohort. Participate in selection of each cohort.  

Communications Media Chair: 

Manage all communication efforts on behalf of ynpnGO, including but not limited to: social media accounts, website contact form, e-newsletter, and press releases. Plan and lead monthly committee meetings. Ensure website is updated and manage ynpnGO Canva account and create all graphics for ynpnGO.

Fundraising Co-Chairs: 

Work with Co-Chair to create and plan a variety of fundraising opportunities for ynpnGO including the annual Trivia Night fundraiser, other smaller fundraising opportunities/events, possible grant opportunities, manage ynpnGO’s Share Omaha profile and participate in Share Omaha events. Plan and lead monthly committee meetings.

Programming Chair:  

 The Programming Chair leads the planning, coordination, and execution of events and professional development opportunities for YNPN Greater Omaha members. This role works closely with the board to design engaging, inclusive programming that supports the mission of empowering emerging nonprofit leaders.
