About Us

YNPN of Greater Omaha is an official chapter of the national Young Nonprofit Professionals Network. YNPN promotes an efficient, viable, and inclusive nonprofit sector that supports the growth, learning, and development of young professionals.

We are a local group of young nonprofit professionals who meet to share experiences, resources and connections to advance the nonprofit field in Omaha. Our leadership is completely volunteer-run. We’re always looking for more energetic people to become active in our committees. We welcome individuals of all ages, however most of our members are in their 20s and 30s.

Mission: The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Greater Omaha promotes interests, and builds opportunities for social and professional development for emerging leaders in Greater Omaha.

Vision: Our vision is to build an engaged nonprofit community through networking and collaboration.

Equity: the act of developing systems, procedures, and resource distribution mechanisms to create opportunities for all people. This means acknowledging and including each individual’s unique situation and addressing systemic barriers.

Equity, diversity, and inclusion are core values of ynpnGO. Each of us brings a unique perspective, so a common definition of these values is critical to ensuring that the members of ynpnGO can work together to achieve our vision.
